I am a Japanese female who came to the U.S. for the research opportunity as a scientist.
In my free time, I go hiking, backpacking, XC skiing. I love to be in the deep wilderness. I write my adventures from all over the world and Introduce the beauty of nature, from a viewpoint of Japanese.

Parc National du Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada-Day3
<Japanese version is after English>日本語は英語の後にあります。
The final day in the Parc National du Mont-Tremblant.
We woke up at 6-6:30 a.m. and had a campfire. Over the fire we cooked sausages. Original plan was to cook over fire at the first night and the second night, but the first evening was raining, so sausages were still remained. We brought all the way, so why not cooking for breakfast? Sausages were delicious!
After breakfast, it started drizzling. We were debating if we should go short hiking or kayaking. It is not very fun doing activities under rain.
First we decided to drive around the park. The park is actually really big. Shortly after, rain stopped. So we decided to kayak on the Lac Escalier. It is another lake in the park.
Probably because Memorial Day in the U.S. is not holiday in Canada, there is not a single human in the area, except for park rangers. It was very quite in the entire park. That was really nice.
Lac Escalier
The amazing thing about kayaking on this lake was being so secluded. The big whole lake was entirely ours. Not a single kayak was there for the whole time we were kayaking. This lake doesn't have much buildings around: except for (probably) one hut. Water was calm, so it was easy to paddle. It was nice to paddle on a peaceful lake.
During this trip in the vast Quebec nature, I really enjoyed the real wilderness.
After kayaking, we headed back for the U.S. Again we stopped at Montreal. This time we got smoked meat sandwich and poutine. According to Google, smoked meat is Montreal thing. The smoked meat was really tasty! I ate sooooo much meat. Poutine is french fries with gravy. I am not particularly a fan of poutine, but it was experience.
For the border control, we accidentally went to the lane of NEXUS, which is probably pre-registration is required. Nicely nobody was in the lane, the officer let us pass the NEXUS lane. Then we came back to Boston around 9 p.m.
Now I explored Eastern Canada twice: it is nice to go back again.
